Well my husband and I finally picked a name for our bundle of joy that will be here in May. Her name is going to be Kinsley Maire. It took us forever to agree on her name. I am not sure why this time was such a challenge. When we were expecting our first daughter it did not take us this long to agree on her name. Her name is Sydney Brooklyn and she is six years old. She is super excited about becoming a big sister. Every day she askes me when will her baby sister be here. It is so cute. After finally agreeing on her name, we went to register at Target for baby items that we will need. We thought that we were going to be ahead of the game since we kept the big items from when Sydney was a baby, but I forgot how much stuff you need to take care of a baby. We did not save any bottles, pacifiers, bibs, bouncy seat, or burp cloths. There were so many new things that were not around when Sydney was a baby. For example, there is a bath pad you put in the tub to help support the baby, but more then that it will let you know if the water temperature is too hot or not. If the water is too hot, the pad will turn blue and if the water is a good temperature the pad stays white. This way you never have to guess about if it is too hot or too cold. Another invention is the Bumbo seat. This is a seat that I can place Kinsley in to help her sit up even though she cannot sit up alone yet. It is made of a type of rubber and will not slip on slippery surfaces and will not tip over when the baby moves around. It is a safe place to put her if she gets tired of laying down. We are getting so excited the closer the date comes. It will be here before I know it. The next few weeks will be full of anticipation and lots of work to do. I will be graduate (I hope) about nine days before the due date. Time will fly by I am sure!!
