Well according to the due date my doctor gave me I am 34 weeks and 5 days pregnant. That puts my due day on May 17, 2010. However, I went to the doctor on Thursday and had an ultra sound done and the ultra sound says that my due date is now May 8th, 2010. This was kinda shocking news. Although the doctor never offically changed my due date, it is kind of making me worry. I have to finish my student teaching and present my Senior project on May 4th. If I can make it until then, I will be ok. I just need the baby to hang in there until May 4th. From this point on, with every doctor appointment, they will either do an ultra sound or hook me up to the fetal monitor to keep an eye on the babies growth. On a lighter note, I had my first baby shower last weekend. It was great to see all of my friends. They were all so sweet to not only bring the baby a present, but they brought Sydney a big sister present so she would not feel left out. We still need lots of things to be completely ready for the new baby. People tend to buy clothes, bows, and cute shoes when they find out that the baby is going to be a girl. Not that I am complaining because I love all of those things as well. It is fun to dress the baby in all the cute clothes. However, we need the praticail things like bottles, pacifiers, diapers, and burp clothes. My husband's work is throwing us a shower so hopefully we will get some more essentials. If not it will be ok, we will just fill in with what we need that we did not get from the two showers. I cannot wait for the Kinsley to get here. But still keeping my fingers crossed that she does not come until after May 4, 2010. Anytime after that will be just fine with me!!
